DEADLINE

All scholarship applications must be postmarked no later than July 15, 2007.  All incomplete applications will not be considered or returned.

Selection Process:

Scholarship recipients are selected from students enrolled in their senior year of high school or entering their first or second year of college. Students are generally nominated by club members, but can be nominated by a non-member (Counselor, Teacher, School Coach).

After a review by the scholarship committee the names of recommended recipients are sent to the Club Officers to evaluate the student’s eligibility. Funds for eligible students are then presented at the Club Scholarship Invitational presentation held by HGG.

Requirements:

1. Students must be in good academic standing
2. A current application for scholarship consideration must be filed.
3. Each applicant must submit two letters of recommendation
4. Typed personal letter from the applicant to the Scholarship Committee stating:

·        A 100-150 word statement or summary explaining future goals.

·        A 300-500 word essay about “Importance of Community Service”
